Carrie has practiced for nearly 30 years, including as a parter of her own firm, where she practiced nationally in product liability and personal injury. She was invited into the fold at AAJ as an educator in programs such as The Ultimate Trial Advocacy Course and the Rules of the Road College and Mega College, which utilize concepts of Damages, Rules of the Road, and the Reptile and Jury Bias. She is a past-trustee of the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees (the education arm of AAJ), past-president of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, past chair of AAJ's Products Liability Section, and has completed AAJ's "Advance Studies in Trial Advocacy" program.
Carrie has led focus groups and served as a jury consultant for over two decades. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, which have proven valuable in her work as a jury and trial consultant. In addition to actively running focus groups, she has also taught extensively in AAJ's Overcoming Jury Bias, Case Workshop, and Case Plus programs.
Carrie calls Golden, Colorado home, and loves her prized view of the mountains and wildlife. She is Bubbe to her incredible family and chef to her devoted friends. She is also the mother of the gentlest giant, her Bernese Mountain Dog Henri.
